I bought two of these seats for my girls, with a new baby on the way, to be able to comfortably fit three car seats across the back in my VW Tiguan (2x Pulse, 1x Compaq) . The mother’s choice pulse is so compact and comfortable, it’s slim line leaving maximum space for a third car seat, really easy to use and just all round the best decision we made was getting these car seats!

Recently purchased this for my 2 year old Grandson love the fact that you can adjust the height with lifting the back up not having to take the whole car seat out to adjust the straps. Also great that you can still have it on a lean back position,helps for when they fall asleep .

I bought this for a second car, as we already had the maxi guard pro. The price was much better and I found the seats are very similar. Maxiguard has nicer material I guess but doesn’t make much of a difference. The things I love about the pulse are: it is slightly slimmer than the maxiguard and the cup holder actually fits our kids water bottles (the maxiguard cup holders are useless), plus the lower price. My only complaint is that the pulse button to release the buckle is quite hard for me to push. This is great if you have a child who try’s to unbuckle themselves. However, mine don’t and I find it really annoying to use. I do have a bit of hyper mobility in my joints so maybe my fingers are just weak but something to keep in mind.

We are very happy with the car seat. It has all of the safety features and my son finds it comfortable. He doesn't use the cup holders but it's practical how they tuck in the side and there is one on both sides if needed.

This carseat is great and my 3 year old grandaughter is so excited to be riding with me to Kindy. She looks very comfy and safe.
