Booster Seats

A booster seat is an upright forward-facing seat (looking at the driver) suitable for ages 4 to 8 years (guide only). They are designed to 'boost' your child up to allow an adult seat belt to fit across their body correctly. Your child must be in a car seat until they're at least 7 years old or 145cm tall.

Driving with your not-so-little one in the backseat? Children need to be appropriately restrained until they are at least 7 years old - and until they meet the 5-step test, if possible. Standard booster seats are forward-facing only and cater to children from 4-8 years old. There are also convertible booster options available which can be used by children as young as 12 months old, if they meet the appropriate markers to use the seat. These convertible boosters start as a fully harnessed, forward-facing only, seat for younger children and convert to a seatbelt booster when your child reaches the torso height of an average 4-year-old child.
